Stamford Artisans Guild Autumn Craft Fair

Busy again getting ready for the Stamford Artisans Guild Autumn Fair. This is in the Arts Centre in Stamford and is chock a block full of fabulous hand made items – and we mean hand made by the stallholder. There’s a huge range of goods on offer, from jewellery through knitwear, woodwork, needlework, painting to aromatherapy products. You could get a real sneak on Christmas presents and start your Christmas shopping early this year – the coffee shop in the Arts Centre is open all day, and there will be other market stalls in the High Street, so why not make a day of it and join us.

I’m proud to be a member of the Guild, who promote locally made goods in their craft fairs. You won’t find any mass produced or made in third world craft items at our craft fairs, just unusual and interesting things made by the stallholder. That means you can discuss everything about the item with them, and even commission something if you don’t see what you like. Most stallholders are more than happy to discuss their goods with you and would love to hand make something to your specification.

We have so many stallholders wanting to come to our craft fairs now that we are thinking about taking extra space for the Christmas craft fair, which is already bigger and better than last year. I’ll be working on it over the next few days, so why not become  a fan of my page (http://www NULL.facebook NULL.com/pages/Fell-From-Grace-jewellery-and-other-hand-made-stuff/222633833416) – you’ll get a discount when you shop if you do.

Here’s part of my new logo – it replaces the white rabbit I was using as both avatar and logo …

Weekend at the Asylum in Lincoln

After an inspiring two days spent in Lincoln at the Steampunk Convention, Weekendat the Asylum, I’m now back home again in Rutland. It’s been a great weekend, where I’ve been surrounded by an astounding amount of creativity shown by almost everyonewe came into contact with!  The costumes were amazing as were the contraptions and inventions – not to mention all the goods for sale in the Bazaar Eclectica where I had myshop.

I’m now going to start work on updating the website – I’ve redesigned the logo and my photographic equipment arrived last week so that I can start taking some better photos of my items and get my shop up and running at last. I’ve also updated to WordPress so need to get the whole thing redesigned

SO, if you’re looking to buy any of my items please email me so that we can organise something online. If you’re reasonably local I’ll be at Stamford Arts Centre in two weeks time, Sunday 26th September, 10am to 4pm. Otherwise just keep calling back here to check out how I’m doing with getting the site fully operational
