Another crunchy guipure lace choker – this time with red trim, including a foiled red glass bead which I brought back from India is now in the Emporium.

I’ve had a play around with the site this week and changed a few things. I think it’s a bit easier on the eye and hopefully the navigation is better for visitors. I’m still struggling around the menu systems but hopefully I’ll get there in the end.There’s still a lot to do, including getting more items up in the Emporium and in the Imaginarium. I’ve change the slide show as it looked a bit busy on every page, plus it seemed to be messing up some other bits and pieces. Everything seems to work properly now I’ve removed it. I’ve added two new slide shows into the About (home) page as well as a recent posts slider, so that the landing page is now a bit more exiting and enticing, and the rest of the site doesn’t look so crowded. Another thing I’ve been checking out is the shop software, but I can’t seem to find anything else that is doing a better job so for the moment I’ll stick with what I’ve got.

Silly me, it would have been faster for me to get the emporium back online than to write the post that said it was offline …. this is what happens when you’re working too hard!

Anyway, the emporium IS up online again, and, as always, there’s more to come

Oh dear! It seems the Emporium has been having problems so now it’s down for maintenance. The good news is that the free downloads section (Imaginarium) is still up and running, so if you need any steampunk, Victorian or vintage clipart for your projects you can still get them free of charge.

I’m working pretty hard during the days at the moment so it might be a few days before I get enough time to get the Emporium up and running again. Meanwhile, there’s a new look to the site, let me know what you think. I’m still experimenting though so it could all change again …
